Born one of a set of triplets and raised in Brooklyn New York, Donna Savage spent her early years exposed to alcoholism, abuse, poverty and pedophilia. She tried to make a change to better her life by getting married at age 16, to a man that would become her abuser for nearly twenty years. Donna vividly describes many instances of violent episodes that began even before her wedding day in her debut book, "The Blood & Tears of Domestic Violence: A Survivor's Revelation", which was published in June of 2008.
Donna started writing this book at the urging of her divorce attorney, over 10 years ago, and put the book down many times because of obstacles that always seemed to get in the way, from life issues to computer crashes as she attempted to transcribe her book, numerous times. Donna also couldn't think of how to end the book...Tragically, the ending of her book came to her door, in the form of a man that would murder his wife, his mother in law and then take his own life in May of 2006. He was a friend of Donna's current husband. After Donna healed from this horrific crime, she promised herself and God that she would finish her book, and bring it to the world by publishing it, with the hope that it will make a strong, positive impact on every reader.
Donna Savage is not only a domestic violence survivor, she is a strong Christian woman, who is an advocate, speaking loudly against domestic violence and abuse of any kind within relationships. She has many visions to bring to pass, in hope of stopping and assisting as many on going cases of domestic violence as possible along with helping to save and restore the lives of the victims involved in this relentless crime.
Donna Savage is happily remarried to a non violent man and presently resides in New Jersey with her family. Her message to victims that may think they will never be free from abuse...YOU can have a healthy relationship without violence!
Donna hopes to be an encouragement to many victims through her testimony which she has revealed to the world in this very powerful book...God is truly able!

Donna's debut book, "The Blood & Tears of Domestic Violence: A Survivor's Revelation", is receiving wide acclaim and is a much needed book in a world where this topic is spoken about often much too late for the many victims. Donna's book will compel change to all readers, with the heartfelt prayer of giving hope and encouragement to those that may be involved in domestic violence or those that may be aware of someone going through this unspeakable, violent crime.
Donna is now working on her second book about AIDS, which is due to be completed by the end of 2008 with a publish date in early 2009. "Donna's passion for these very important and personal subjects is very strong and have compelled her to write these books with the specific hope that they will change the world in a powerful way." Said one loyal reader at a recent book signing, "Once you start reading her book, you can't put it down...I have to read all of her books".
